Angana Moitra recently completed her PhD in medieval and early modern European literature on the highly-competitive Erasmus Mundus TEEME (Text and Event in Early Modern Europe) joint-doctoral programme, graduating jointly from the United Kingdom and Germany. Her previous educational experience includes a BA in English from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata and an MA in English from Jadavpur University. She has presented papers at conferences around the world and dreams of becoming a Professor at an established university in the future. She has mentored both school and college students in the past, having decided early on to devote her life to the field of education. Her students have gone on to taste success in both academic and non-academic fields, and she prides herself in her style of teaching which seeks to engage students in conversation and make them truly enjoy the subjects that they study. Fluent in English, Bengali, and Hindi, she is also adept at reading, speaking, and writing in German and French and is able to read Latin. She also possesses extensive editorial experience, having worked for Oxford University Press as a Freelance Editor in the past and currently engaged as the resident editor at the Centre for Privacy Studies (PRIVACY), University of Copenhagen.
