The Union Education Minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal, finally announced the much awaited date sheet:
The pandemic sure did lead to a lot of distress for the students. Now, being aware of the dates, the students can concentrate better on the entrance examinations preparations they have been involved in. The exam starts on May 4, 2021. The result will be announced on July 15, 2021on the CBSE portal.

1. Class-XII examinations will be conducted in two shifts.
2. Schedule of the examinations would be as follows:- SHIFT SCHEDULE OF EXAMINATIONS DISTRIBUTION OF ANSWER BOOK TO THE CANDIDATES First Shift From 10.30 AM to 01.30 PM Between 10.00 A.M. – 10.15 A.M. Second Shift From 02.30 PM to 05.30 PM Between 02.00 P.M. – 02.15 P.M.
3. Duration of time for each paper has been indicated in the Date-Sheet.
4. However, duration of time for each subject/paper as given on the question paper be followed meticulously.
5. Candidates would write their particulars on the answer book.
6. Particulars shall be checked and signed by Assistant Superintendent(s).
7. After distribution of Answer Books, 15 minutes time will be given to candidates for reading the question paper.
8. Candidates would plan proper strategy to write the answers.
9. At 10.30 A.M (morning shift) / 02.30 P.M. (afternoon shift), candidates will start writing the answers.
10.No enquiries about date of declaration of result shall be attended to.
The practical exams, an integral part of CBSE curriculum, will be conducted from 1 March, 2021. The statement has been made for the schools to gear up for conducting the examination. CBSE assures all safety standards will be followed for conducting the exams keeping in mind the pandemic and apprehensions regarding it.

A group of CBSE students has submitted a petition to cancel the upcoming board exams 2021 which are to be held in May stating that the online classes were not really helpful as many students lacked internet resources.
There have been concerns about a fake CBSE exam 2021 datasheet seen on social media platforms. CBSE has assured that the actual class 12 date sheet 2021 will be released soon
Admit Card Details:
The Admit Cards will be issued to the students through their respective schools. They will be made available on the CBSE website as well.
For Private Candidates, the Admit Card will be available on the cbse website. The latest link provided on the CBSE website will contain details regarding Generation of Admit Card, Online List of Candidates (LOC) for Class X/XII and Centre Material (Centre LOC, Attendance sheet, etc.).
