CFA® Charter is a designation which would be awarded to those who have completed three levels of exams (CFA Level 1, CFA Level 2 and finally CFA Level 3) and completed acceptable work experience requirements.

CFA Exam Level 1 is a computer-based exam consisting of 180 multiple choice questions. There are two 135-minute sessions with an optional break between sessions. You will get results only if you take both sessions. Each level one exam session has 90 multiple choice questions.

Level 1 exam is self-paced. Each Candidate is unique, time to pass CFA Level I depends on their situation and motivation. Candidates spend about 300 hours of preparation time at each level on average.

These are the Enrolment Requirements for CFA Program (CFA Level 1), do don’t need all of the below!

• Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline, or
• A candidate in the final year of Bachelor’s programme at the time of registration can also apply for CFA programme, or
• Have 4000 hours of professional work experience (not necessarily investment related)
• Have a valid international passport
